Iris Elise Jewelry was founded in April 2013. Named after me, my mother, and my grandmother, all jewelry-makers, I make statement jewelry from glass, semi-precious stone, and vintage components. There’s a lot of joy in making something new out of old materials, and no piece of jewelry is too ugly for me to cut up and repurpose.
Inspired by the bright and funky culture of San Francisco, I favor bold colors, high contrast, and unique yet classic designs. Many of my pieces are as appropriate for a night out on the town as they are for the office.
See a piece you loved but it’s gone? Never fear! I do take custom orders and may be able to recreate a similar version for you. Contact me for more information.
When you buy from me, you are supporting an independent artist. I truly appreciate everyone who has purchased my items, and would be thrilled to see how you style them!
I am a voracious reader, relatively skilled home cook, crafter, history nerd, book blogger, and a lawyer. I design jewelry that I would wear myself: usually bold, brightly colored, possibly sparkly, and unusual. Often, my pieces are inspired by books and shows. In my spare time, I cook, write for Forever Young Adult, run a 120-member book club in San Francisco, and never, ever manage to get on top of the dishes.
Iris Elise Jewelry is a proud member of the SF Etsy community. Whether you are a buyer or maker, I highly encourage you to follow them and support other local, independent artists.
